Coldest Night of the Year

New Works Weekend

We are excited to present our New Works Weekend, which consists of staged readings of Lam and Champagne Problems, two brand new Michigan playwright written shows, performed January 8th-11th.

Champagne Problems, performed January 8th and 9th at 7pm, is a romantic dramedy that plays tug-of-war with your heart as it navigates grief, loyalty, and what it truly means to let go.

Lam, performed January 10th at 7pm and January 11th at 2pm, is a retro-rodeo post-apocalyptic drama blended with a coming-of-age reckoning about identity, freedom, and what exactly it is you're supposed to do when you turn 26.

After each performance there will be a talkback with the playwright. This will give you a chance to give feedback on the script and help shape these brand new plays!

Use code "NEWYEARNEWWORKS" at checkout to buy one get one 50% off, giving you a chance to support both of these shows for only $15!

Pipeline Auditions

Auditions for Pipeline by Dominique Morriseau are January 5th and 6th, 6:30-9:30pm.

Auditions will consist of duet cold readings from the script. You may prepare one of the scenes ahead of auditions with a specific scene partner if you would like. Individuals without a scene partner will be paired off at the start of auditions.

OPTIONAL MONOLOGUE: After cold readings, we may ask individuals to stay behind to do additional readings, at which point you can perform an optional monologue of your choice (monologue does not need to be from Pipeline).

You can send in a virtual audition to our producer at zach@flintcommunityplayers.com if you are unable to attend auditions. You can also email to request the audition form and/or audition sides.

Season Tickets

If you’ve come to more than one show in the past season, a Season Ticket may be right for you. Season Tickets give you 6 admissions to use anyway you like throughout the season. At $70, this saves you over $20 each season. With a purchase of a season ticket, you have the flexibility to come to every show, or you can save up your tickets to see a few shows multiple times, or even invite a few guests for a night out to a favorite play! Season Ticket holders also get their name in programs. Brand new this year, we’ve added the option to buy Season Tickets on our website. When you go to our website and click on “Tickets”, go to the “Season Tickets” tab and select your option. Once you’ve made your purchase you’ll get a coupon code to use to order your tickets for the shows of your choice.

Message from FCP

We here at FCP want to wish you a very Happy New Year! As we reflect on this past year, we want to extend thanks for all of you who help make what we do possible. Everyone, from all of our volunteers, to our board members, staff, patrons, donors, advertisers, and sponsors, are a crucial part of what we do. The community we cultivate is the most important part of creating theatre for us. In 2025, we had approximately 128 volunteers for over 6500 volunteer hours! That is a lot of shared memories, hard work, and dedication to creating art together. Here's to making even more memories in 2026!

Volunteer of the Month

Tabby Stubbert

Tabby signed up to stage manage one of our New Works Weekend shows, but when we needed a stage manager for the other one as well, she stepped right up to the plate and is doing an excellent job handling both shows!

Thank you Tabby for your hard work!
