The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals
Join us September 25-October 4th for The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals! Everything in Hatchetfield seemed normal until people began singing... Then, they began dancing... And now, a musical pandemic is sweeping the entire city. It’s up to Paul (an average guy who doesn’t like musicals) and his friends to stop this musical apocalypse and fight for humanity’s future!
By hit online theatrical company StarKid Productions, this telling of the Horror Comedy Musical will have inspiration and love of Flint at it's heart, and the deadly Apotheosis at it's brain!

Flint Pride

Season Tickets
Season tickets. It should be an easy sale for us. Who doesn't like saving money on tickets and getting a little recognition in return? However, for the last couple decades we've seen our season ticket numbers shrink. We used to fill two pages in the program (with teeny tiny print) listing all the people who purchased season tickets. Now it's down to one page with a much bigger font.
I get it. It's a big upfront cost, and most of us are struggling. Plus, with work and family, who knows what our schedule will be like when the performance weekends come up? But you still manage it. You still buy tickets to the musicals and plays we put on.
So here's my pitch. It's mostly just an idea I want to put into your head. Take a look at our season. What shows will you definitely see? I'm hoping that there are at least 3, and I'm guessing you won't come alone. Or may you plan to see one show 6 times all by your lonesome. You do you. I won't judge. If either of those is your plan, you could save at least $20 if you bought a season ticket. If any one of those shows you plan to see is a musical, then you'll save even more.
Listen, I can't twist your arm. Well, I could, but it would probably be counterproductive, and honestly I'm not that strong. What I'm trying to say is this, it's literally a win-win. You get to look like a big-wig with your name printed all pretty-like in the program and you save some dough. We get a financial boost at the beginning of the season, and we feel good when we switch to a smaller font on that list of names.

Scholarship
Are you a college student studying the arts? Flint Community Players Arts Scholarship invites any High School Seniors and College Students who are majoring or minoring in the arts at a collegiate institution to apply. Any person who is a Genesee County Resident, Attended/Attending School in Genesee County, or is involved with FCP is encouraged to apply. Click the button below to learn more!

Favorite Show: t's hard to pick a favorite, but I would probably choose Trail to Oregon
Tell us a little about yourself: When I'm not at FCP I am making art, playing video games, or taking classes for an IT degree. I live with my wonderful wife Danielle and our cats, Cheez-It and Dorito.
How long have you been with FCP? I have worked at FCP for one year, and I've volunteered here for 3 years.
Why did you join FCP? I applied to work for FCP because I love the community here. It feels like home. Being able to use my skills to help that community thrive is a huge honor for me.
What do you like most about FCP? The best part of FCP and theatre in general is the community. Making art with other people is a beautiful thing.
